Duncan McFarland leads St. Jude's music ministry. He began participating in Catholic music ministry after he was baptized in 2015 at the Parish of the Western Lakes and Foothills, marrying his wife Katie and beginning to play for Our Lady of Ransom in Mechanic Falls that same year. He has a degree in music education, piano concentration, and 7 years' experience teaching music in a public school before moving into IT. This career change led him to Lisbon Falls in 2021, joining St. Jude's and POTHE that summer. His educational background contributes to his style of ministry, focusing on allowing individuals opportunities to learn and grow musically while reverently supporting the Mass.
