IMPORTANT wedding planning NOTES:
- The definition of a "parishioner" is where at least one party resides within the boundaries of the Parish of the Holy Eucharist and/or is a registered parishioner regularly attending Sunday Mass within the parish.
- Confirmation of your wedding date on the parish calendar will ONLY occur once Freedom to Marry has been established by the Pastor and the above corresponding church use fee has been received. This fee is non-refundable. Checks can be made payable to the Parish of the Holy Eucharist. All major credit cards are accepted.
- If Mass is not included in the Marriage Rites, a Mass will be offered on a later date as a special intention for the couple.
- There is no obligation to pay Clergy or Servers, however we strongly encourage offering honorariums. An honorarium is traditionally given to people who have performed a service without charging a fee. It is a token of appreciation and gratitude and therefore has no set prince associated with it. A customary amount for the priest or deacon presiding at your wedding is at least $100.00.
- For practicing parishioners who request assistance, the Pastor and/or the Parochial Vicar(s) may reduce or waive the church fee. For truly exceptional and verifiable circumstances, the musician fees may be reduced or waived after consultation with the respective musicians.
- If using an outside musician, a bench fee of $350.00 for the guidance of our parish musician will still be assessed.
