Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) is a form of catechesis based on the teaching methods of Maria Montessori. Rather than a traditional classroom setting, children will be working in an atrium, where they have the freedom to choose from various works designed to aid the child in strengthening his or her relationship with God. In Catechesis of the Good Shepherd children are exposed to the most essential aspects of our Catholic faith, particularly by contemplating God’s presence in the Bible and in every Holy Mass.
