From Fr. Pierre,Sacred Heart Parish, Meyer Thank You for because you give us the opportunity to explain you some updates about the situation of our parish community. In fact, as update I can highlight the following facts:1. Due to the situation of Port-au-Prince, we have, now, more people in our community who need social assistance, unfortunately we are not able to help them.2. We need to renew our sound system because it is not good and for the security of our community, we need to install some surveillance cameras. 3. Since 2004 we are using our parish car, we have fixed it in different occasion, and now, (20 years later) it is broken again. We would like a special help to fix it.4. Finally, we asked you to pray for our parish community because we are preparing to celebrate our 26th anniversary on June 7th, 2024. Thank You for brotherly closeness and for your generosity. Let us continue to pray each for other. Cordialy, in Christ,Fr. Jean-Marc PIERRE From Fr. Herol, Marbial parish: “ Hello Elizabeth! Yes, we celebrated a very Beautiful Easter and we had a beautiful and Happy Easter by the grace of God. I think it's the same for you. Speaking of the situation in the Marbialaise community, I must tell you that there is a severe drought which is causing famine, because farmers cannot grow the grains on the ground. I salute the courage of our supporters who have always supported us. May God bless you and keep you in the Risen One, Jesus our savior!” From Sr. Wanda in the Dominican Republic concerning the Community Center in Cyvadier, Haiti Good afternoon, sorry for the delay in responding...Happy Easter! We have been sending some food to the children from the Republic. We do it via boat by sea on the border of Pedernales. Precisely these days I am going to the border to make a shipment. We have gathered some people who have given us and bought food to send. Here I send you the photos of the last shipment we made.
